Harbor Mill Candles is a respected manufacturer in the luxury candle marketplace. Over the past two decades, I’ve established long-term relationships with candle industry leaders to provide unique vessels, packaging, and fragrances. Harbor Mill Candles manufactures many of the high-end, trendsetting candle lines of today.
The demand for products crafted in the USA continues to grow, all of our candles are proudly handmade and poured in Holly Spring, GA by a team of women with a passion for quality and success. Harbor Mill Candles is committed to amazing craftsmanship.
What you can expect
When you work with Harbor Mill Candles, you can expect a friendly, communicative, and timely collaboration. I have a private label candle program that offers ready-to-ship and custom options. Please refer to the next section, What We Offer for details.
Please consider these facts as you plan your project:
- Purchase Order/Deposit/Artwork Approval: All three are required to begin work.
- Lead time: Six (6) to eight (8) weeks from the time of purchase order/deposit/artwork approval for private label ready to ship and custom programs. Between July and November, the lead time is up to twelve (12) weeks.
- Product development timeline: In general, three (3) to six (6) months. Project time is dependent on many factors, so this is a rough estimate. Fragrance duplications can take six (6) to eight (8) weeks. Custom fragrance development takes at minimum of three (3) months up to one year.
- Minimum order quantity (MOQ): 120pcs and up to three (3) fragrances/SKU for ready to ship program; 515pcs per design/SKU and up to six (6) fragrances for custom program; 1,500-3,000 units for custom developed vessels in glass, ceramic, or concrete (can be split into units of 500 per fragrance), 250 pcs for wax fill services only.
- Rush orders: Do to the nature of our business, we do not accept rush orders.
- Pricing expectations: Each element of your project impacts pricing. In general, selecting more custom elements increases pricing. It is not possible to give you an estimate until you have chosen all elements of your project. In addition, shipping will be charged once the order is packed and weighed; Harbor Mill Candles cannot provide estimated shipping costs in advance.

Harbor Mill Candles offers two private label programs: Ready to Ship and Custom.
Overall Program Requirements
These requirements apply to both programs:
- Acceptable artwork file types: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or PDF
- All MOQs must be met, no exceptions.
Ready to Ship Program
Our Ready to Ship Program is for our stocked candle vessels.
- MOQ: 125 units, up to 3 fragrances/SKU
- The vessel selection must be the same per MOQ.
- Your slot on the production schedule is firm once payment is made and your artwork provided in an acceptable format.
- If you wish to sample fragrances, you may purchase them for $5.00 each at https://harbormillcandles.com/product/scent-sampler-candles, or send a fragrance list with your billing and shipping address to info@harbormillcandles.com. We will submit an invoice for payment.
Custom Program
Do you have a specific design direction with either photos or renderings and all other specifications and details? If so, Harbor Mill Candles will take your program from start to finish with capabilities such as silk screening; vessel painting; endless packaging options; an unparalleled selection of fragrances from our library; burn testing; labeling; pre-packaging; and expert consistent filling.
- MOQ: 515 units per design/SKU, up to six (6) different fragrances
- Vessel and package options are endless; you must communicate what you want so we may source it for you. This applies to vessels, packaging (lids, boxes, labels, gift sets).
- Choose your scents from an extensive fragrance library. If you wish to create a custom fragrance or have a fragrance inspo, this service is available for an additional fee. Please review our Fragrance Formulation option.

Research & Development
We offer two cutting edge wax blends or you may supply us with your wax formula.
The most important component to a high quality candle next to fragrance is the wick selection. Our team goes through extensive testing to ensure wick optimization based on the wax formula, fragrance, color, and vessel.
All of our fragrance oils are formulated to be free of phthalates, and paraben while emitting the best cold and hot fragrance throw.
We ensure that your candle color matches your specific requests, including Pantone® matching.
We offer an extensive selection of stocked vessels as well as the ability to custom designed your very own in ceramic, cement, glass, or metal.
Many packaging options are available from custom boxes, dust covers, labels, sleeves, and more.
